Venu Srinivasan led TVS Motor recorded a whopping 137% rise in its net profit for the third quarter with Rs. 55.7 cr against Rs. 23.5 cr, on a Y-o-Y basis. Third largest two-wheeler manufacturer’s net sales were up by 50.19% to Rs 1,613 crore against Rs 1,072.6 cr last year.
The impressive performance was due to rise in two wheeler segment which clocked 39% by volume base, while three wheeler sales crossed 10,000 units for the first time, the press release stated.
